Almost Complete

After 10 days Kurt has finally made it back home! Yeah! Our stuff from the moving truck also arrived yesterday. After some bad instructions from a blonde (me, oops), everything arrived and was pretty much in one piece. (Poor truck drivers got stuck in the parking lot, had to move a large dumpster and railroad ties to eventually get out.)

Today's activities: get everything put together and put away in the apartment!

We Made It Alive!

So I am happy to say that Kylee, Sadie, and I have all made it to Idaho and we are all even still in one piece. Almost nobody realized we even had a cat on the plane (not a single peep from Sadie) and there was only one tiny fit thrown by Kylee, (I had to restrain her to clean the peanut butter and honey off her fingers before everyone was sticky). Things went surprisingly a lot better than I expected. That would greatly be due to having Jan, Kurt's mom, there to help and a lot of nice people around the airport.

I will admit that it would have been almost impossible to make this little journey on my own with being pregnant too. We all survived the 5 1/2 hours of flying, 3 hour layover, and then the 4 hour drive to Rexburg. Kylee is loving Grandma's big backyard, all of the animals to pet and play with, and is Jan's little buddy. I lost count in 5 minutes how many times she has said grandma.

Kurt has finally "officially" gotten everything signed off for school today. He has now graduated and received his diploma. Hallelujah! Kurt and his dad will start their long drive back to Rexburg starting tomorrow morning. Yeah!

Burke Lake

So I owe it to Rachel and Ryan for telling us about this little place, Burke Lake. Otherwise, we would have gone without ever finding this little place when we have lived here for almost four years. (I will admit to wishing I had known about this place sooner, because I am sure we would have visited it more often.)

Kylee had the opportunity to ride the carousel and the train. She was a little nervous about the train since it went kind of fast and went through dark tunnels, but seemed to enjoy it.

Her favorite activity seemed to be the carousel. Whenever the ride ended she would be pretty upset. We also enjoyed playing at the playground and sharing some ice cream cones.

Kylee enjoyed exploring down by the lake, throwing rocks, carrying sticks, and walking across logs.

Do you notice that Kurt is nowhere to be found in these pictures. I think he enjoys hiding behind the camera so he can take all of the pictures, but not have to be in any of them. I am going to work on that this summer; especially since I am the pregnant one who should be hiding from the camera.
