Pictures! Finally!

So today I finally took the initiative to leave Kurt with Kylee and Kade to upload some pictures. (Thankfully for him I put Kylee to bed before I left, so he has only had one child at a time to deal with.) It has taken so long because we do not have Internet at our house and anytime we are at his parents I am either: A) chasing Kylee, B) nursing Kade, C) trying to take care of my horse, or D) Kurt is on the computer. I finally just gave up and came over to our clubhouse to use their Internet.

Here are pictures from what Kylee and I have been up to before little brother's arrival. Thankfully Kylee helped keep my busy so the time ticked by faster as we waited for Kade's arrival.

Nature Girl: she has loved sitting, hiding, and picking the flowers in the empty lots that surround our apartment complex.
Starting early: She loves riding four-wheelers and dirtbikes with mom and dad. This is the only one that she can actually ride by herself though.
If the Shoe doesn't Fit, Wear it Anyways: This girl LOVES trying on ANYONE'S shoes that have been left out. Her favorite shoes are her cousin's Jane's (6 year-old niece.)
Mowing the Lawn: Just like Grandma does-boots are an added feature though
Party Crashing: Yep, Kylee has already learned the art of crashing parties at the age of 2. We joined a friend at her neice's party and Kylee could not help but join in on the festivities.
Mrs. Potato Head: So some of Kylee's toys are still packed until we move at the end of summer. That doesn't keep her from playing with some of the odds and ends she has found from mom's not so good packing job. Oops!
Puddle Jumper: While waiting for Grandma at the nursery Kylee loved splashing and jumping through all the puddles. The end result was a sopping wet, happy child that had no pants on the ride home.
Splish-Splash: Kylee loves playing in any water that she can find (even if it is just buckets and tubberware containers). She is modeling her new swimsuit that Grandma got for her.

Last but not Least: "Why did the jackrabbit cross the road? To be brought home by Kurt and his dad as a welcome home gift." Kurt and his dad had hit this jackrabbit on their way home from Montana and had not even realized it. Jan and I were in for a surprise the next morning when we saw it on the front of the car. (Yep, that puddle under the rabbit is blood). Guess who was the lucky one to take this rabbit out of the car? Yep, me. No one else would do it. Kurt had the tenacity to actually record his 8 month pregnant wife pulling a rabbit's butt out of the car's vent and radiator. I don't ever want to hear that girls are faint at heart. In this case, Kurt is faint at heart. Sheesh!

Finally Arrived!

Tuesday morning I was taken in for a c-section where little Kade Golden Linford was born close to 8:00 AM. He was 20 1/2 inches long and weighed 7 lbs. 14 oz. I am so EXCITED to not be pregnant anymore and on the road to recovery. Kylee has done remarkably well with the new addition in her life. (This has much to do with all the help and attention she has received from her grandma and cousins. Thank you!) There have been a few instances here and there where she has tried to push Kade and I off the couch or a My Little Pony made a runaway across Kade's head (poor guy). What doesn't kill him will make him tougher.

Tomorrow I will work on posting some pictures of what Kylee has been up to over the last two months and some pictures of our newest addition.

By the way, Kylee had a great birthday yesterday. She received presents from us, grandma, and all of her cousins. She was treated to a snowcone from Hayley, had her favorite dinner (crepes), played with all of her new toys, and had cake and blew out her candles. She now wishes every day was her birthday.

Stork Arrives Tomorrow!

Well tomorrow morning we are officially going to be having a new addition to our family. It is going to be very interesting to see how Kylee does with the newest addition, and having me gone for at least 2-3 days while I am in the hospital. (Kurt has his work cut out for him, thankfully for him Kylee LOVES grandma.)

I am not too thrilled about the fact that I am going to be having another c-section, but at least this baby is going to come out one way or another tomorrow. It has been 10 days since my due date so at least I know I tried to see if I could have the baby v-back, but I just don't dilate for some reason. Who knows?

Well, I will have to post some pictures after tomorrow.

The Suspense is Killing Me!

So went to the doctor again today. The plan: if little boy does not show his face by Wednesday, they are scheduling me for a c-section Thursday. I am still trying to convince myself that at least this little guy will be coming out of me one way or another by the end of this week. Just still keeping fingers crossed that he decides to come on his own.

Still No Baby

Man, this little boy is proving to be just as stubborn as his sister. I went in on Saturday (on due date) to the doctor's office and not much of anything has happened. So we are two days passed the due date and I am definitely ready to not be pregnant anymore. Positive side, (as my sister-in-laws called it), I have not had any emotional breakdowns YET. Keeping fingers crossed, more for Kurt's sake.

Countdown: 4, 3, 2, 1 Days!

So I am totally past the point of enjoying this pregnancy. Wait! What am I saying? I have never enjoyed a moment of either of my pregnancies! Yep, I am totally one of those evil people who does not enjoy or embellish on the joys of having a baby (feels like a little gremlin) growing in you. I am one of those people that starts counting down from day one until this little baby will be gracing the world with his/her presence instead of my body.

Don't get me wrong; I am EXTREMELY grateful that I am able to have children and so easily, I just handle pregnancy grudgingly until it is over.

Well, no little guy has arrived yet. My official due date is this Saturday (July 2nd) and I am rooting every day that something happens before then. There are days that I have thought if I took one more step a baby might just drop out on the sidewalk, but no such happenings yet. To make my attitude a little worse, a good friend had her baby a few days ago and her due date was not until July 15th. Can we say I am just a "little" jealous. That is a definite yes! Kurt loves to rub that one in my face and laugh about it.

Hopefully my next post will be filled of pictures of our new baby boy and big sister Kylee. (Keeping fingers crossed).

Still Slacking in the Picture Area

I am slacking in the picture area. I do have a few that I have taken with my cell phone and camera that I just need to take the time to load. (To my defense, we have no Internet at our apartment so I am usually chasing a Kylee at Grandma's where Internet is available.)

We have been living in our apartment for about a week now and it has been nice. Kylee has had some fun adventures with her cousins and her grandma. (This girl is going to have a hard time when we move in August.) We have had picnics at the park, ridden the carousel, ridden horses (yes, I am a crazy pregnant lady riding a horse), ridden her bike, and just enjoyed being outside.

Kurt had the opportunity to go snowmobiling this past weekend with his dad into Cook City, Montana and they both had a blast. They both returned with really funny sunburn marks on their face from their sunglasses and helmets. (I enjoyed Kurt's humiliation of attending our new church looking like a red raccoon.)
