The first thing anyone wants to hear after they have their wisdom teeth taken out is how awesome their face looks. I was able to have this wonderful experience.
On our way back to Idaho from Utah we stopped at a gas station in Bountiful so that I could use the bathroom. I walked into the bathroom, walking past three high school aged girls. As soon as I walked into the stall I heard one of the girls remark, "Did you see that girl's face?"
How did I respond:
A) Wait to leave the stall until the girls were gone.
B) Make a smart remark back: "I want to see you look much better after your wisdom teeth are taken out."
C) Start to cry
D) Start to laugh realizing how funny I must look.
The answer: D) Start to laugh
I had forgotten how funny I probably looked until I came out of the bathroom and looked into the mirror. To really add to the whole image I had blue coloring all over my lips and partly on my face from drinking a blue slurpy. Wow! I was really rocking the blue chipmunk look. (If I was really humble I would have taken a picture and posted it on here, but have not reached that level of humbleness yet. I rather keep this joyful memory and image to myself, Kylee, and Kurt.)
P.S. Still having nightmares at night about getting my teeth pulled out. Sorry if that scares anyone that has to get theirs out, but it really was a scary process and one that I am glad to NEVER repeat. EVER!
