This weekend was a great break from Kurt studying everyday for his second set of Dental Boards. He took them on Wednesday and Thursday, but won't know if he passed until about another week. Kylee and I bribed him to come along for a dog walk with us and we stopped at one of Kylee's new haunts. The nearby duck pond. I can't even mention Douglas' or Mr Bigg's name without her quaking like a duck. If we even drive by their apartments she will start quaking and pointing to where the ducks live. Oh boy!
Kylee helped my pet-sit and joined me for many walks over the three days. Is she being walking like a dog? Yep!
We also visited Roosevelt Island and walked over to Georgetown to pick up some Georgetown Cupcakes. For some reason we picked the windiest day (Saturday) and we all somehow made it over the bridge, even the little Pomeranian Zeus.
Kylee was definitely not a fan of the wind and hated being pelted by the dirt and sand. Her solution to the problem: cover her face with anything she could find on her stroller.
We also ended up going to Old Town on Monday and were surprised to find out there was a parade. It ended up being a lot colder than we had expected so we did not last for the whole parade, but Kylee got a balloon and I saw horses so all was well.
